CSN Stores Fitness Giveaway! For You and Your Child!

THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED.  Thanks to all who entered!!

I am so excited to be hosting a giveaway for the CSN Stores.  They have a huge variety of items ranging from home bar furniture HERE to cooking supplies (even the ever-dreamy Vitamix blender) to playground equipment.  You can shop for all your needs at CSN Stores without having to leave the comfort of your home.  With 2011 just around the corner I want to help my readers (and their children) realize their fitness goals with some fitness dvds.  So here is what is up for grabs:

First, a Yoga Kids dvd.  Pierce and I have this dvd and love it.  It makes yoga so easy and fun for children. The cobra pose becomes snake pose (complete with hissing).  The kids get to try out volcano pose (with an explosion) as a way to deal with anger in lieu of tantrums.  Such a great outlet for kids, and what a nice way to burn off some energy while stuck indoors this winter.

To go with the Yoga Kids dvd, the winner will also receive a Yoga Direct Charter Oak kid's yoga mat, in the color of his or her choice.

Next, is the Yoga Conditioning for Weight Loss dvd by Gaiam.  I have this dvd as well, and I really enjoy it.  For one thing, it's challenging but not too hard.  Even if you are a beginner to yoga, you will enjoy this dvd.  For another, Suzanne Deason is not annoying (because nothing ruins a yoga video like an annoying exercise host). She has a really soothing voice, and even as your working out it almost feels like getting a nice massage to stretch and twist your muscles.
To go with the Yoga Conditioning for Weight Loss dvd is an adult extra thick sticky Yoga Direct Charter Oak mat, in a color of your choice.

This giveaway is open to residents of the United States and Canada.  The winner will be chosen by Random.org on December 25th at noon, which is when the giveaway closes.  To enter, simply leave a comment as to what YOUR fitness and/or health goals are for 2011.  If you do not have an email address attached to your profile, please be sure to leave me a way to contact you.  Winner has 48 hours to respond to notification email, after which a new winner will be drawn.  Good luck!

I want to win this. I will give the yoga kid things to Grady and I will do the weight loss yoga junk for myself. My fitness goals for the new year are to exercise 5 days a week for at least 30 minutes. May not seem like much to a marathon runner, but I have never stuck to anything in my life and plan to make a real effort this year. The current year of health problems have made me realize how old and decrepit I have become.

What a great giveaway! hmm...what are my fitness goals...to run a mile? ;-) Honestly, I want to get 120 hours of cardio a week. (running, hiking, etc.) I am so bad about slacking off on exercise, I would really like to be able to stick with it!

I was doing pretty well this year with my fitness routine until I had three kidney stone surgeries this summer. I am slowly getting back into it but I want to be back to where I was with my weight and the tone before this set back.

I would like to get in 30 minutes of working out at least 3x/weekly. That is my fitness goal. It's going to take me some time, and I know I won't be super fast moving, but I'm going to work on it, anyway! GREAT giveaway. COOL! :>

How cool!

Hmm, I think my fitness/health goals are as follows:

Get back to a regular running/weights schedule like I used to do when I was active duty (I have slacked off lately, so my workouts are now hit-or-miss).

Plus, I'd like to also incorporate swimming as a good cross-training cardio workout, for when my body needs a break from running.

Oh, and health-wise, I'd like to cut out (okay, okay, *reduce*) my diet soda addiction.

I sort of ran across this site and have not really read through all of it, but my honest fitness goal is to help my husband drop some weight by setting the example. He is in the military and has been having some trouble over the holidays keeping his weight down and I think the only way to encourage him is for me and our two boys to get up and do it !! Win or not Wish me luck pls =D ( email: ashley_L_garner@yahoo.com )

Hey Stranger, yes I am still alive, lol. With how my work schedule has been, I have not been able to do my 10 miles a week like I was doing. So that is my goal for the new year, build back up to what I was at for walking. Since the Buddha Bear is getting a Radio Flyer trike it may be easier to do and maybe get back into running.

OK, I'm in. For 2011 I want to lose weight, and get up to 20-25 mpw base milage. I also, maybe, might decide to take on my first full marathon. :-O

I started running almost 2 years ago, which has been awesome, but I want to do more. I hope to run a quarter-marathon in May. Part of achieving that goal includes adding more strength training. This yoga set would fit perfectly into a revised exercise routine.

Starting Jan. 1, 2011 I am giving up soda. This year I mean it. I have my mind set and I have already started weaning myself. Yes. it's that tough for me. My exercise goals are starting small. Something is better than the hardly ever I do now. 3 times a week 30 minutes.
This is such a fun giveaway - thank you for the chance to win! :)

Thanks for the chance to enter this giveaway! :o)

I am going to walk my dog at least once a day. Even in the cold I see my neighbor all bundled up and she is walking her 2 dogs. I am making a pack to do that myself this year.
