Out with the Kids

I've got a stockpile of pictures we've taken that I've meant to post but I'm behind.
Back in February, we took the boys to the Green Ridge Rec Center.  We didn't get any pictures at the indoor water park because Cort was terrified, so we had our hands full.  But they had a game room that the boys enjoyed:
There were white spots that they could chase around the floor.

Then a few weeks ago we met up with friends Elizabeth and Mattie to celebrate Mattie turning 2.  Chuck E. Cheese was a big hit with all the boys.

Reid was a little nervous about being in this car, but Pierce was there to protect him.

Cort loved every single ride and begged for more.

Pierce spent his time in the tunnels that ran up under the ceiling.

I talked him into riding this horse though.

Reid loved the toddler slide, which has a lookout.

And Cort just kept riding rides.  Over and over.  He could've stayed all day he had such a grand time.

Me with Elizabeth:

What have you been doing lately that's fun?

Good ol' Chuck E. Cheese! I remember taking my oldest son there when he turned 3. Gosh -- that was almost 27 years ago. :) Looks like the boys had a blast.

Bet they wish it could always be "days out"

That place is SO great for your boys (and all little ones!) But the pizza is like cheese on cardboard. Ha!

Looks like everyone had a blast! We haven't taken the girls to Chuck E Cheese yet, but I'm sure they'll love it when we do!
It's great to do stuff like that right now while it's still yucky outside. But the nice weather will soon be here!

This looks like a great spot! We don't have anything quite like this but today we're planning to go to an indoor playground since it's still snowy and cold around here. Gotta get that three-year old energy spent!

Oh that takes me back.

I'll parrot ALL the veteran moms and say "enjoy it." Eventually the day comes when "Play Land" is NOT their first choice and, believe it or not, you miss it.

So glad to see a picture of you and your friend!

Looks like you all had a BLAST - I've been to an indoor water park in Ohio - they are something else.

Glad you all had a great time.

What great pictures of the kids having a ball!!! And such a good picture of you and Elizabeth. My favorites are the last two pictures with Reid and Cort, what a blast thy had!! I know what you mean about backed up pictures, I have them backed up from over a year ago. We had a fun weekend as well. Went to the soup and arts festival yesterday. Even with the GPS, Phil still managed to get lost once, but then it wouldn't be a trip without that!

I have never taken mine to CEC. My mom just went yesterday, took my niece to a birthday party there. Mayhem! Looks like a lot of fun, though. :)

I think it is about time for Pierce to ride a real horse! Is your guy trustworthy enough for him?
