Splash Valley at Green Ridge Recreation Center

The boys received several different rewards for completing the reading program at with the library this summer, but by far the most coveted prizes were the tickets to Splash Valley, a small waterpark attached to a fitness center.
We went on a seasonal day in late July, when temps were in the mid 80s and the sun was bright.  It was the perfect day for a water park.
They weren't big enough for the 'big kid' water slides yet, but they enjoyed doing the small kids area.
They were often surprised when they would walk by something, like these dragons, only to be sprayed with water.
They also found plenty of fountains for stomping.
It was a very fun day, and their only complaint was that the water was too cold.  They had to keep getting out to try to warm up in the sun.

What a great place to have summer fun. I remember taking my niece/nephew to a water park one July day and it ended up being cloudy/cool. We all were freezing IN JULY!!!

This looks like a wonderful place to play. We had a great time at a water play area near us.

Our city has some fun free public splash parks in our area, but mostly what I miss is access to a real swimming pool.

Looks like the boys all had fun on your trip!

Looks like a fun day for kids. The closest water park to us is 2.5 hours away and attached to a motel. They charge 17 for a day of it. Our kids love it. However, with the hurt wrist most water activities have been out since July.

Looks like a lot of fun! The photos are great. Love those dragons.

Wonder why, at least when we're kids, we want to splash the water with our feet? Even mud puddles? :-)

That sure looks like fun. When my kids were that age, there were not any water parks, at least none I ever heard of. We used to go to a family cabin down at Manatee county, Florida and let them play on the beach. I guess that's the closest we ever came to a water park.
