Young Farmer's Crossing

I took this picture at the Homestead Creamery this summer.  We went there when the boys earned free ice cream cones from doing a summer reading program.  Really, though, we don't need any reason to go to the Homestead.  Their ice cream is amazing.  Especially the peanut butter!
I think I could use one of these signs for my yard.

Seen any young farmers lately, readers?

I have to admit that at the Apple Festival on Saturday, I had their ice cream before I bought lunch. First things First!

Granddaughter Lily was pick'in Pears yesterday and was wise not to even try to eat 'em since they were more like rocks :-)

PB ice cream does sound terrific. I have a hard time staying away from eating it often.

That sign is really cute. I love ice cream, and I love peanut butter, but I'm not so sure about peanut butter ice cream! LOL.

Hi Lisa,
Glad to see you again, sweetheart.
My Internet is back, thanks God!
I've been missing not being Online,
because a couple of tropical storms
devastated and knocked out a large number of electrical connections and things like that.
I am sure your children are doing great. You have been doing an excellent job with your dear family and loved ones. You are a great mom. Everybody must love you a lot, Lisa.
Again, I am glad to be back Online.
Warm Hugs & Greetings from Starry.

I want that sign! I am guessing they had it made because I have already scoured Google with no luck!

Such a cute sign! The two farmers at my house --if gardeners can be called farmers --don't fall in the young category anymore. :-)

I wish I had seen some young farmers. This used to be a very farm friendly area. Now the young people want no part of it. All the guys I see driving tractors down the road appear to be my age or older. I think farming is on it's way out now. Higher fuel prices made it harder to truck produce down to the farmers market in Atlanta and still make any money.

That is such a cute sign. Not something you see every day.
