Beam Me Up

The sunrise recently was rather unusual.  Paul noticed it first, and directed my attention out towards our pasture.

It seemed, for that day at least, that there must have been something mighty special just over the ridge.
Readers, have you noticed the sunrise lately?

Wow! That's an amazing sight! It does look like a passageway of some kind. Unfortunately I miss a lot of sunrises. Seems I might be missing a lot!

Lovely shots. It has been gloomy here for too long. It is raining with a mix of ice now, I just came in from fishing for trout.

That does look pretty!

I'm always trying to tell my students to paint skies with something more interesting than flat blue.

Gorgeous, Lisa. I haven't seen the sunrise lately--but saw a beautiful one the other night here... We had had a foggy/cloudy day--and that evening when we were in the car running errands (I was just along for the ride), the skies cleared up and we had a fantastic sunset...

Hugs,
Betsy

Wow, what a grand sight Lisa! My Granny used to call them 'sun spires', and said they were Jacob's ladder, done in light... and that if you watched very closely, you could see angels moving up and down.
