Christmas in January

We didn't get to exchange Christmas gifts in person with my brother, Taylor, and sister-in-law, Meredith this year because they were awaiting the arrival of baby Grady, who was born last Friday (YAY!).  NINE POUNDS SEVEN OUNCES.  DUDE.  That is a lot of baby.  And Meredith is so tiny.  I can't wait to meet Grady.  I'm an aunt!
We got their presents today.  Pierce got a very cool L.L. Bean sleeping bag.  We do a lot of camping in the spring, summer, and fall.

Pierce will definitely put this to good use.

Reid insisted on opening all the gifts while Cort was napping, so that he could get a chance to play with them before Cort stole them away.

Hey, don't touch MY snowman!

Why don't we just put this in my crib and not tell Cort it's for both of us?

Yes, as a matter of fact, Reid's outfit is on backwards.  Blame Cat Cat for that one ;-).

I got two books to read.  My mom said that Meredith is brave for buying me books because I read so much.  But they found two books that I've not read, and am eager to delve into!

They also included a Barnes and Noble gift card and this awesome gift for Paul:

What, you didn't think I was going to open it without him, did you?  Come on now, give me a little credit!
Thanks so much Taylor and Meredith!  Very thoughtful gifts that we will surely enjoy.  And give Grady some snuggles from all of us!

Hey, I am severely hypothyroid plus vitamin D deficient--my doctor's nurse called me this morning to tell me they had faxed in prescriptions for me. Not my fault my mind has shut down--I have medical conditions. And that outfit looked totally cute on him, even if it was backwards.
