A Long Awaited Spa Day

So I was all ready to do a post today about how awesome Paul is for getting me a gift certificate to a day spa for Christmas.  But then he made me mad last night.  Typical male.  And I am still holding a grudge today.  Typical female.  I am really good at holding a grudge.  Not that I'm proud of that.  Just being real here.

So while I won't write a bunch of very nice things about Paul today, I will show you how much I enjoyed using my gift certificate.

First, a massage:
I was a little bummed the masseuse didn't work on my IT band, even though I asked her to.  I'm wondering if she didn't know what the IT band is?

Look at all the massage goodies:

Then I went for a facial.  Check out the writing on the wall:

Life is not measure by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

First facial ever.  It was very nice.

Post facial glow:

Then on to a manicure and pedicure.
All those colors to pick from:

I'm a tomboy and messed up my fingernails within about 3 seconds.
But my toenails were photo-worthy.

Okay, after looking through the pictures I guess I forgive Paul.
He is a pretty good husband.
Most of the time.

Don't forget to stop by tomorrow for Memory Lane Friday!  Memory Lane Friday is a way to preserve your own memories for those of your children, on your blog.  Tomorrow's topic is A Crazy Weather Event.  You just post on your blog a story about a memory of a wild weather event from when you were younger and link it up here.
Should be fun!

The happiest people are those that forgive easily. Spa day was a wonderful present! Glad you forgave Paul :-)
