Muffin Tin Monday - Yellow, and A Chick Update

It's Muffin Tin Monday again and this week's theme is yellow!
String cheese, baby corn, pineapple, lemon yogurt parfait, and a deviled egg chick.  Pierce went to town on this lunch!

I know I've been promising a chick update!  I've just had so much to write about lately.
Our new chicks are doing wonderfully.  They are all healthy.  Even the one with a broken leg seems to have healed.
Here they are just after arrival:

Cute. So so cute.

And I'd like to introduce Elvis:
A tiny bird with a poof and an attitude.

Horace and Juliet continue to do well, although Juliet is now three times the size of Horace.  And Horace caught a STINKBUG!  Go, Horace Go!  I love this chick!
He was all proud of it too.
There was a great deal of chick shrieking and running back and forth across the box.
Couldn't let the other chicks get it you know.
Plus, he had to show off a little.
After he ate his stinkbug, he had to rub his face all over the ground.
I hope he liked it.
Because we have a lot more where that came from.
And I would love to put him to work...

Oh, and don't forget to enter the giveaway for a very cute toddler apron that my mom made at Good Girl Gone Redneck.  The winner will be picked later today!

That devilled egg chick is soooo cute! I'm going to have to try that for our spring party! It's good to see your chicks are working out better this time. I hope to have some off my own soon!

Well, I can't really take credit for coming up with the deviled egg chick...it was in this past month's Family Fun magazine :-)
