Quick and Easy Honey Mustard Chicken Tenders

This is a quick, easy, and healthy dinner recipe and will spice up your chicken.  The kids approved this one too.  It's modified from a Taste of Home recipe.  Last time I made it, I served it with sauteed summer squash and zucchini, plus couscous.

Ingredients:
1/4 cup dijon mustard
2 tbsp. honey
1 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. water
1 pound of chicken tenders

In bowl, combine the first six ingredients.  Broil chicken for 3 minutes on each side.  Brush with mustard sauce.  Broil 4-6 minutes longer or until juices run clear, basting and turning several times in the process.

That's it - how simple and quick is that?

Happy Mother's Day to all of my wonderful mother friends out there, and especially to the best mom I know-- my own Mom!  Hope you all have perfect days!

Happy Mother's Day! I haven't made honey mustard chicken in a really long time, and it's so easy and good. Thanks for the reminder. I would love for you to link up this post tomorrow at What's for Dinner? on my3littlebirds. This is exactly the kind of easy and kiddo friendly dinner that moms need to be reminded about!

I don't think there is a kid on the face of the earth who won't eat chicken tenders! To tell you a secret, whenever we check out a new restaurant, this is what I order, my family makes fun of me for it! I either get chicken tenders or a chicken Caesar salad. I hope you have a great Mother's Day!

Can I pass this along to my MIL? She made chicken for dinner and while the veggies totally rocked, the chicken was so dry and bleh I couldn't believe my kiddo ate as much as she did. YUM. I'm not even hungry and reading this made me hungry! Hope you (and your mom) had a lovely Mom's Day!

Love easy recipes!

I'm drooling over the zucchini- when I was a kid, my fave meal was a plate of zucchini with parmasean cheese.
