The Bobsled Run, Part 2

I took so many pictures of the kids sledding on the bobsled run that Paul built in our front yard in the February snowstorm, that I decided to put them in collages.
This is from the first day, before it got so incredibly fast we started making the boys wear helmets.
Even on the first day, there were some interesting crashes.  Paul and I crashed a few times too.  Luckily, the snow was quite soft.

The picture at the bottom corner shows the run before Paul built up the sides really high.  In the next collage, you can see the banked sides later on.

It sure made for some great free fun.  I don't remember ever enjoying the snow quite so much!

That looks like a wonderful time for the whole family. Maybe you have to have kids to enjoy getting out in the snow.

Great job making this winter memorable for them. This winter wasn't all bad. Kids all over got a break from school and had some fun. But I wonder if winter is really over?....

Wow if you guys lived near town there would have been a hundred kids there! He really did a good job on it. We could have a good mud slide this morning.
Spring is here and some guy bought tomato plants at work on Wednesday but I just got cabbage.

If you live in it one must play in it. I love to sled and ice skate. I just took the sled out of my van.

These pictures are awesome!!! You should really frame them and set them out in the winter. Your house is so wonderful, are you still going to sell it? It is just perfect to raise boys in. My favorite picture is in the first collage, bottom right. I love it!

I just love seeing those smiling faces, and can imagine next year you'll have 3 little boys asking for that fun again. :)

This is, yet again, something the boys will remember and laugh about for many years to come--how cool their parents were to build this bobsled run! :)

Good thing Paul built those sides up. Looks like quite a fall if he didn't.
