The Skatepark

Someone in our house is a big shot.  Someone thinks he should always be doing tricks.  Skate tricks.  Stilt tricks.  Bike tricks.

Others are not so risky.  But they still enjoy a good trip to the skatepark....with a much more stable scooter.

And then the oldest is the most responsible of all.  No ramps, no steps.  Just skating in circles.  Nothing wrong with that!

How about you, readers?  Would you be doing skate park tricks?

Good Morning! How nice to have a skate park. I would be an observer!!! No skate tricks for me. It's nice that each child enjoys the park in a different way.

I don't bounce very well anymore, but it looks fun.

I'm with Pierce! :)

The twins are having fun though, and that's okay too.

As a skater, I make a great audience!

We don't do skate parks, but then we don't have kids living at home anymore. Looks like the boys each have their own methods.

It looks so fun and tempting, but at my age it's not wise. The boys certainly know how to have fun! Cute cute.

your boys have all the right gear for the different adventures they go on. Must set you back some but I know that kind of thing is important for youngsters.

If I were a kid, I just might do that. But I'm not a type A, so I think the big shot has me beat. Looks like fun. :-)

Oh boy not for me, but I admire others for getting in there to have fun!

I love how Pierce (hope I didn't misspell) is his own person and isn't compelled to compete with his brothers in everything.

No tricks for me. I used to take my oldest and his cousin all of the time though. :)

No, I am probably more like your oldest (as an Adult too)! Safety and no broken bones suit me well! I see many kids who feel invincible at parks. Your kiddos look like they know what safety is all about. I had a good chuckle at your opening sentence! :)

Looks like fun! Glad they are outfitted properly.

I'm like Pierce--I'd be just skating. No daredevil in me!

I'm impressed. I was never very brave--never wanted to get hurt. But I grew up with a lot of boys in the neighborhood, so I just watched them doing this sort of stuff.

I think I would be going around in circles.

Loooong ago I was crazy for skating . . i worked to be able to keep up with my older cousins . . Now i prefer to read about YOUR kids, each with their own temperament - enjoying life on wheels . . simply awesome sauce.

I'm a circle skater too. Although I don't even do that anymore, I'm afraid of falling
