Puzzled

I found an unopened 3D puzzle at a thrift store for $2.  The twins started working on it and became obsessed.  So much so that they couldn't go to bed.  Luckily it was a weekend night.  But after being told to go to bed several times, eventually the puzzle had to be removed from the room so they could sleep.
The next morning?  They were up bright and early to keep working on the puzzle.  They got Big Ben put together, and were so excited about it.

I think I need to find more of these!  What fun.

They did a great job putting it together and that's quite a great deal you got on it. I have one 3D puzzle that I put together with my teenage son. We're both quite proud of it and I love the time we spent together assembling it.

Good Morning, Lisa. What a cute photo of the twins and their 3D puzzle. That was a great bargain, too. I hope you'll find some more of these for them. Enjoy the weekend.

They obviously like a good challenge. It will go together easier the 2nd time maybe, or do you leave it as is?

This looks like it would have been lots of fun! Our daughter has recently been on a puzzle kick...not the 3D kind, although I'd bet she'd love them. She's 17...and I was thrilled to see her doing something non-electronic on her summer vacation! :)

They did a great job, and so neat that they worked together and figured it out. Didn't they like puzzles even when they were much younger? Your kids are never going to be bored in life--they're interested in so many things! :-)

Wow!! I have never seen one of these, it is beyond cool! I need to find one. And Big Ben is the perfect object for this puzzle. I think I will try Amazon. I love the boy's beautiful smiles! Hoping you have a great weekend!

Mica loves these things! I got a few at a store here that has cheap things called Tuesday Morning.

I'm glad they like it to.

I love it!

I have been told that people who can put such puzzles together tend to be above average in intelligence and in problem solving skills. Alas, I always hated the things.

The boys would have liked working with me today since they like puzzles and I had to disassemble my front tine tiller to replace the belt. I hadn't planned on pulling the motor and transmission off but that was what the puzzle required. Then after finding a belt in town it was time to put the puzzle all back together, they would have had a ball! Now it works again though not as nice looking as Big Ben turned out.

That looks like fun! I don't think I have ever even heard of 3 d puzzles!

WOW! Those things always look too hard for me. I am very impressed. I will admit that when we have a puzzle going here, I stay up too late and get up too early to work on it. Puzzles are addicting!

Your boys are so handsome! I'll bet they will be chick-magnets when they get older.
