Great Farm Dog: Position Filled

It's a tough job, being a farm dog.  There's always something that needs a little chasing.

Daily trips down to the stream for a dip in the mud are a must.  Even if that means you aren't allowed inside for a few hours.

And even if there aren't any sheep on this farm for herding, there are plenty of boys that need a little guidance.
Yup, it's a tough job, but somebody's got to do it.

Speaking of awesome dogs, maybe some of you follow Tweedles?  She is a little puggy who had major surgeries recently, and there is an auction going on to help raise money for medical bills.  I have donated a couple of my homemade soaps for the auction, and there should be many other neat items featured.  Please check it out, if you have a moment.

Your dog reminds me of our Aggy though the color is different. They seem to be a good type of dog to have on a farm and also a good around the house and kids dog. One of the cats slept in the den during the cold yesterday and Aggy didn't mess with her but she can't resist playing with the other cat. She can tell the two black and white cats apart and treats them differently.

I like how you've caught the bottom of their same sole in motion-darling photo.

He's a pretty dog! And I bet he's protective of those boys. It's great that your boys are growing up with animals. :-)

What a great dog! The farm dog's main job here lately is to keep one end of the couch weighted down.

Is Scooter a BC or a mix?

I believe all dogs need/want a job. They feel more part of the family when they do. :)

Your Border Collie will be wonderful at herding Thing 1 and Thing 2. And they probably won't know it, unless they do something really dangerous. Which is when you'll be glad the dog is with them.

Blessings and Bear hugs!

I LOVE this post.
And - the auction is such a great idea! (Your soaps are too cute . . and a great product . . you must be super popular.)

I'll have to share this idea with the places here . . . they have plenty of fundraising events - but, online, they can do anytime. Super!

Love & Love to You!
