A Different Turtle

When we go to the Greensboro Science Center, there is one animal that the boys always want to be sure to see.  It lives on the lower level.  We were a little worried when the cage wasn't where it was last year, but when we asked, we found out it had just been moved to a different room.

Do you see anything a little bit odd about this turtle?
Or maybe, you're just seeing double?

So what I'm really wondering is....does the turtle have one name, or two?

Oh my! The perfect opportunity to see if two heads really are better than one, lol.

Two turtles in a shell or two heads, hard to tell.

Oh my goodness. This turtle really is a "mutant." I think he should have two names :)

Yes, that is a different kind of turtle. I would think the name would should be someting like Albert 1 and Albert 2. Probably not Albert, but you get the idea. lol

i would think 2 names ... that seems more fair or equal. that is awesome. i always wonder who gets to decide where they go? what they eat? who goes 1st? ( :

neat-o!! i bet the boys loved that.

I'm going with the two heads theory. And wonder if they ever have arguments? The science museum was great. We take our grandchildren to them and zoos whenever we have the chance. :)

How cool! I wonder if it can get both heads in that shell? It must be able to.

I love interesting defects like that.

Artistically it's so cool!

I had a student that is albino. I had never known one before. She seemed like a go getter at first, but ended up being a poor me type person. It wasn't until later I found out that she was raised by the foster care system. Not that all foster cases are bad. But there is a lot of problems with it.

Are two heads better than one????? ha ha---Hope you asked Mr. Turtle... If I had two heads, my hubby would REALLY go crazy... He has a hard enough time keeping up with my "honey-do" lists now. Imagine if there were two of me!!!!! ha ha

Hugs,
Betsy

Oh my goodness! How long have they had him? I guess he is in good health and has a normal life expectancy?

Does he have 2 heads? Wow!

A turtle with multiple personalities. It is possible, I suppose, if one has two heads. I wonder what kinds of conversations they have, and whether they can shift those thought from one brain to another without having to talk.

Blessings and Bear hugs, Lisa!

I remember when I was about 10 we saw a two headed snake in an underground zoo in Arizona.

Things like that stick in your memory for some reason.

That is really cool! I'm not sure I have ever seen a two-headed animal in person, only internet pictures :/

Wow! I can see why you went looking for it - again. I would like to see it swim.

Oh my. They definitely need two names--even if they are strung together like a good southern one.
