Stick Maze

When we went to the NC Zoo back in August, they had this fabulous maze created from sticks.  The boys really liked it.
I'm not sure how they created this.  But I'm pretty sure we have enough sticks around the place to make one.  Anyone have a few spare hours to come over and make a stick maze?

That's pretty neat. Looks like a lot of work though. I'm lucky to get my leaves up.

Lots of sticks here, I have to haul them away to dump on creek banks where they are washing out but too muddy to do that now. I burn some as kindling. The boys can make a stick hut.

These are unique, it must be a fast growing vine. There is one in Omaha at their art museum.

That's cool! Your boys look so little beside it. We have a lot of sticks in our yard, and Larry is an expert at picking them up. I will show him this picture and see if he'll make one in our yard. :-)

This is totally cool, like the ultimate fortress maze!! We go to Louis Ginter in Richmond, it is a huge Botanical Garden and they have the most awesome tree house and garden for kids! Anyway, there is an artist who travels around the country making these giant art things out of sticks and twigs. At Ginter, he has made several things. And he has things in other countries, really beautiful. He has stick art in many countries. Anyway, this looks like he made it! wish I could remember his name! I will do some research and be right back!!

The boys are so fortunate to be able to look back and see what a fun Mom and Dad they have, and to have experienced so many magnificent outings!
