Turkeys and Indians

For Thanksgiving, the twins had a special performance at school.  I got to go eat lunch with them and watch them sing.
The pictures aren't the greatest, because I was in the far back and had to zoom a lot, plus the room was a bit dark.  But you can see they were both really into it.

They were both so excited to have me there.  And we snuck Pierce out of his class so he could watch too.  Pierce was delighted to play hookey.  And to snag a treat off the dessert table.
Look at those happy faces!
Somehow, I had thought I'd get to eat lunch with my boys more often this year, but with working two jobs it hasn't worked out that way.
So this day was extra special to me.

They look so cute! I love that they do a Thanksgiving play.

Our kids do a holiday music festival around Christmas. They sing songs about holiday around the world at this time. I enjoy it, but it's hard because it lands on the day my final is. Luckily there are 2 times it runs. I go to the 10:30 slot. My final is at 1. It's still tight because there's back work to grade, and what not. I somehow end up getting it done.

LOL so cute Lisa. Too bad you have to work! I bet it is hard not getting to spend as much time with them as you once did.

I used to work close to the kids' school and would head over for lunch sometimes too. It was awesome. :)

This event looks fun. I think the pictures turned out nice!

Oh how sweet. I'm sure the boys were excited especially about Mom being there. BUT--their little program looked so cute. I loved watching them SING --and sing with 'gusto'.... ha

Haha! Those facial expressions say it all--"We're having a blast! Isn't our Mom cool?" They were very happy, I'm sure. :)
